America250PA brought its Keystone Classroom Initiative to Lewistown Elementary in Mifflin County on Wednesday, engaging over 450 students in celebrating Pennsylvania’s role in U.S. history ahead of the 250th anniversary of the nation in 2026. Volunteers, including local officials, media personalities, and mascots, including Aly Rake-n-bock; Matt Wit-zull; and Pete Cay- toe joined the event, sharing stories and distributing swag bags filled with T-shirts, coloring books, and treats from Pennsylvania companies like Hershey and Crayola. The program aims to reach 50,000 students statewide by July 4, 2026, connecting youth with Pennsylvania’s rich history.
