East Juniata High School has named sophomores Sophia Varner, Jordana Steffen, and Emma Mattern as its 2025 nominees for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference. The program, which will be held next June 5th through the 8th at Millersville University, focuses on empowering students to lead and inspire change in their communities. The conference aims to build confidence, empathy, and leadership skills, leaving students prepared to make a positive impact. The program is recognized nationwide as a standout achievement for young leaders.
