The Mifflin County Industrial Development Corporation Board of Directors met earlier this week, to review ongoing projects, including plans to demolish the 5C building in the MCIDC plaza. With $750,000 in state and county grants secured, demolition is set to begin in February, making way for future development. During their meeting on Tuesday, the direcors also got updates on the relocation of the maintenance department, improvements to the railroad spur, and a $250,000 track reconstruction project. A mission statement was also introduced.
