Pennsylvania State Police had quite the unusual call last Friday… an animal trespassing incident that got wildly out of hand. A 78 year old Mifflin County man allegedly tried to fend off a feline invader by firing shots at the trespassing cat in his yard. But while the cat emerged unscathed, the man wasn’t quite as lucky. The incident happened on McCoy Avenue in Armagh Township. While police aren’t sure if the cat was a local pet or a free-spirited stray, the shots fired have left the man facing animal cruelty charges. His identity hasn’t been released.
