State Trooper Headed to Prison

A Pennsylvania State Trooper has been sentenced to six to 23 months in prison for vehicular homicide. 36-year-old Michael J. Brown was off-duty when he caused a fatal crash in 2023. Brown was attempting to pass another vehicle on Route 6 in Tioga County, when he crossed the double yellow lines and collided with an oncoming car. The crash killed 47 year old Christine Woodward, a mother and teacher. Brown is set to report to prison on November 1st.
