The Juniata County School Board filled several vacant positions at its latest meeting. Key hires include a new band instructor, Benjamin S. Wilson, and Molly B. Heckendorn as a special education teacher, both contingent on receiving clearances. The board also added three paraprofessional roles at Juniata Elementary and brought on a new school psychologist, Diann K. Gray, starting October 1. In athletics, new coaches for field hockey and wrestling were approved. The board also signed off on several field trips and a $25,000 gym curtain for East Juniata High School.
