According to numbers just released, the Mifflin County Regional Police Department, which serves the communities of Burnham Borough, Brown, Derry, and Union Townships, handled 383 incidents in August. Officers investigated 10 cases of burglary, theft, or fraud, three assaults, and 25 motor vehicle accidents. They issued 68 traffic citations, seven non-traffic citations, and made 11 arrests for driving under the influence.
