A Mifflin County Middle School student is now facing charges in connection with a threat of violence that was written in a girls’ restroom. The Lewistown Borough Police Department, along with school administrators, launched an investigation following the incident that was first reported last Monday. On Wednesday afternoon, a student was questioned and subsequently confessed to the act. The name of that student has not been released, but the school says they are cooperating with authorities to ensure a safe environment for all students.
