Mark Crosson, former principal of Mifflin County High School, has been appointed as the acting principal at the Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology for the 2024-25 school year. Crosson, who retired in 2022 due to family health issues, had been substituting in the district. His new role was approved by the Academy’s Operating Committee following the resignation of previous principal Gary Heverly Jr. Crosson, with over 20 years of experience, now says he is eager to contribute to the Academy, citing his passion for working with students and the school’s administration.
