School Threat Investigation Leads to Arrest

As we first told you yesterday morning, a threat of school violence was found written on a restroom wall at Mifflin County Junior High School on Tuesday. In response, police increased their presence at the school as the Mifflin County Regional Police and school officials investigated. By 9:30 Wednesday morning, a student was identified, questioned, and confessed to writing the threat. Authorities are now filing charges against that student. The school district extended their thanks to the Mifflin County Regional Police Department for their swift assistance in the investigation, which is ongoing. Nobody was hurt.
