The winner in the race for the Republican nomination for a seat in the Pennsylvania House Of Representatives is state Rep. Perry Stambaugh, who beat fellow incumbent state Rep. John Hershey yesterday. The two incumbents were forced to face off after the legislative redistricting created the new 86th District, which includes Perry County and most of Juniata County. Unofficial results show Stambaugh with 7,059 votes and Hershey with 5,714. Stambaugh will now run unopposed in the fall general election.
