Juniata County officials are inviting county residents to help shape the future of local disaster preparedness. A public meeting will be held this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Juniata County Commissioners Room to review and provide input on the county’s updated hazard mitigation plan. The plan addresses risks to public safety… things from natural disasters to cyber-security concerns. Juniata County residents who are unable to attend this week’s meeting can share feedback via phone or email.
