Apple Juice Recall Over Arsenic Contamination

Walmart has recalled nearly 10,000 cases of Great Value brand apple juice due to arsenic levels that exceed FDA guidelines. The affected juice, sold in six-packs of 8-ounce bottles, has a “best if used by” date of December 28th, and much of it was sold here in Pennsylvania. The FDA issued a recall, indicating potential temporary health risks. The arsenic levels in the juice were found to be 13.2 parts per billion, above the FDA’s recommended limit of 10 parts per billion. Walmart has removed the product from stores and advises customers to return it for a full refund.
