Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry has reached a $195,000 settlement with Titan Gas, LLC, also known as CleanSky Energy, over violations of the state’s ‘Do-Not-Call’ registry. The settlement addresses 2.7 million unlawful telemarketing calls made since a 2019 agreement. Titan Gas is required to pay $160,000 in civil penalties and $35,000 in costs, and submit a compliance report. The settlement serves as a warning to telemarketers about ignoring consumer privacy laws. A portion of the penalties will be refunded to affected consumers.
