The Juniata County Historical Society plans to showcase historic weapons at the Tuscarora Academy Museum during the month of August. Among other exhibits planned during the month, on August 11 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., Steve Renno will display his antique firearm collection, including “Kentucky Rifles” made by local gunsmiths. Highlighted pieces include a 1911 Colt and a flintlock pistol from the American Revolution, both recently returned after being stolen 45 years ago.
