Turkey Survey Underway

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is asking for public help in their annual Wild Turkey Sighting Survey, running through August 31. The survey is seen as a vital tool for managing the wild turkey population, tracking reproductive success, and observing population trends. Last summer, the statewide reproductive success was 2.9 poults per hen. To report sightings, visit the Game Commission’s website. Your participation can help ensure accurate data and effective wildlife management.
