The trial for a homicide case in Huntingdon County is officially underway. Opening arguments have begun, as the prosecution and defense laid out their cases before the jury. Morico Johnson faces two counts of criminal homicide in connection with the deaths back in 2009 of Beatrice Daniels and her niece Christine McWhorter. The two women were found shot in the head while lying in bed inside their Mount Union home. Investigators say blood found at the scene matched DNA provided by Johnson, who was arrested in Virginia two years ago, following a long investigation.
