The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is updating drivers on the Route 35 highway restoration project near Mifflintown Borough in Juniata County. Starting Monday, paving will begin between Stop Plaza Drive and Industrial Park Road and continue through next Thursday. Flaggers will manage traffic during this period. Drivers are urged not to follow trucks into closed lanes. The project includes roadway reconstruction, new traffic signal supports, radar detection systems, cameras, drainage improvements, and guide rail installation. The project carries a $3.1 million price tag.
