The Mifflin County School Board of Directors met Thursday, and deliberated on several key issues, including change orders to the Multi-Sports Facilities Project. The board approved three change orders, resulting in a net increased contract cost of $26,118.81. These changes included a credit of $15,750 for reducing the proposed scoreboard size at the secondary field, as well as additional costs for mandated design changes and erosion controls. In other business yesterday, the board addressed various administrative matters, such as approving budget transfers, employee pay schedules, and new hires, while also acknowledging student achievements in extracurricular activities.
