In a community effort to support local youth, Carli Russler and Shannon McGonigle… both of Burnham… are spearheading a fundraising campaign to construct the SteelWorx Pump Track. The track, with an estimated cost of $60,000, will be built on the former Jamboree grounds in Burnham. Funding is being sourced through donations and various fundraisers. The two also founded the Every Kid Rides Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth cycling. To further their cause, they are hosting a benefit bingo event this Saturday, March 2, at the Lewistown Moose Family Center. Doors open at 10 a.m. Tickets for the benefit bingo are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
