The Snyder County Conservation District is holding a free workshop to show farmers, livestock owners and horse farms how to write their very own manure management plans. It will be held on Tuesday, March 12th from 6 to 9pm at the Snyder Conservation District Office. Those who show up will go home with knowledge and information to complete a manure management plan that meets current PA Department of Environmental Protection regulations. The plan is a requirement for anyone who raises or boards animals and produces or receives animal manure, regardless of the type of animal or the number fo animals.
