Mifflin County Academy Board Meets

The Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology Operation Committee held their first board meeting of the new year last week. It was last Thursday when they got together to go over details regarding enrollment numbers, program efficiency, student achievements and the next steps needed to assure continued growth for Academy programs. Enrollment numbers have held steady, but nevertheless, they want to do a comparative analysis for the future. The Academy will be hosting 152 students from Mifflin County Junior High engaging in a “Closer-look Tours” and also 28 students from Juniata High School and 14 students from East Juniata High School during March to give them a closer look at the future academic opportunities available to them.
