The National Weather Service says we need to watch out today, for a band or perhaps multiple bands of heavy snow showers or snow squalls that are expected to cross Central Pennsylvania sometime today between noon and 7PM. Forecasters say rapid-reductions in visibility and flash freezing on roadways could produce hazardous travel conditions on interstates and highways. Remember, if a snow squall warning is issued, you should be prepared to delay or travel, or if you are on the road, exit the highway as soon as you safely can do so, and wait it out. Snow squalls can suddenly reduce visibility to near zero.
