State Police: Thief Run Over By Accomplice

Pennsylvania State police are investigating a catalytic converter theft that led to a man being run over. Police say the thief actually ran over his accomplice while trying to flee and the whole thing was caught on security camera footage. Troopers say it happened early Saturday morning near Boiling Springs, where two men had attempted to remove a catalytic converter from a vehicle in front of a garage. When the property owner confronted the men, they fled. One of them ran over the other guy’s leg with his pickup truck, causing what police said was a “substantial injury.”. That man, who has since been identified as James Edward Snyder, was taken to a local hospital; theft charges are expected to be filed against him. The other guy remains at large, an so far, Snyder isn’t talking about him.
